Longarm Quilting Services
Quilting charge is by the square inch which is calculated by multiplying the width of the quilt top times the length of the quilt top.
Quilting**: All over (edge to edge) quilting of medium density is 2 cents per square inch. Pantographs 2 cents per square inch. More intricate quilting such as outlining appliques, dense quilting, multiple thread changes will start at 3 cents per square inch and go up depending on all of the above factors. **There is a minimum quilting charge of $50 per quilt.
Thread: Top quality threads are used for all quilting. Thread charges start at $10 and up depending on size of quilt and type of thread used. Threads used are King Tut and Sew Fine from Superior Threads and Aurifil at this time.
Batting if needed: I can provide batting starting at $10 per yard. Hobbs and Quilter's Dream batting are used at this time. I have 100% cotton, 80/20 blend of cotton and poly, and 100% wool ($12 per yard). Silk (extra charge) is not always stocked but is available on request.
Seaming a backing if needed: $10 per seam
Pressing a quilt top or backing if delivered unpressed: $10 each
Binding services available: Complete binding: Cut and stitch binding, machine stitch to front, hand stitch to back of quilt: 35 cents per linear inch (add length and width of all four sides of quilt).
Rush charge of $25 per quilt will be added if needed in advance of my schedule. Delivery time is running 2 weeks currently. Quilts must be delivered in order to be added to the schedule.
Texas and local sales tax rate of 8.25% of total charges will be added to all orders.
